Otiki (old name - Metro bikes)

Concept sketch for a Start-up with a unique solution for a new age urban commute.

Metro Bikes is a start-up that is committed to last-mile connectivity for the Metro train commuters of Bangalore. They rent bikes at Metro stations at an affordable price. This project was a pitch for the rebranding and brand positioning of Metro Bikes.

Scope of work: Conceptualization, Art direction, Illustration and design.

OTP + Key =

The custom-built font is arranged in a manner to visually resemble the 'Key'. The two 'i" are connected to symbolise 'Last Mile Connectivity the core idea of the business.

Proposed brand name

Otiki = OTP (one-time password) + Key

The biggest USP of the 'Metro Bike' was the easy accessibility of their bikes. Users had to register their profile, scan the QR code on the bike, enter the OTP received on their registered mobile and the bike is unlocked!

We built an idea for the proposed brand name, which was quirky and easy to remember based on this ease of accessibility.
